Hi Everybody well here we are nearly at the end of another rallying year,there is only two more too go before Christmas, The Halloween Rally held over the weekend of 28th-30th Oct at Mountview Caravan Park Abington with EHU promises to be a fun weekend with all the treats that a Halloween Rally can bring, come along and join in the fun and games. Our last Rally is the Dinner Dance Rally if you have not been to a Dinner dance with the centre yet well this is the event to come to, you can bring your Van and everything is within walking distance the function Suite is georgeous.
Start of the year is the Burns Rally at Kirkfieldbank, this is an invitation to South West who West Centre alternate with every year. Not done a rally yet? Every rally if different and we have a good time at them all some are on sites with EHU some are not, so come along and join in the fun and meet new friends and old, I hope to see you on the field in 2012 Marion Eames

I would just like to congratulate Linda and Eric for a fantastic rally at Moffat. It was like stepping back in time to when rallies were great fun and laughter everyone without exception danced and laughed all week-end. Linda your church service on Sunday was very apt and reminded us what the two F's are in rallying FRIENDSHIP and FELLOWSHIP I hope that this is a sign of what the future holds for the West Centre

I would just like to congratulate Eric on the design and completion of the Flyer for the Scottish National Rally 2012, and to thank Morris (SCC PRO) for his guidance and computer skills enabling Eric to put his thoughts on to paper.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Rob Elliott for the technical know how and fabulous voiceover making the CD to go to the National to advertise next years Scottish National. Very well done to all it's always nice to give credit where credit is due.

I would like to thank everyone in the West Centre for welcoming both Eric and I back into the fold. Eric will serve you well as your Vice Chairman and hopefully next year as your Chairman. When Eric takes on a commitment like this he always applies 200% effort,but expects everyone he works with to at least try to do the same. He is very honest, to the point and hard working, what you see is what you get. Ok so I'm biased, but the traits I have mentioned are what I and many others truly admire.

Although we no longer caravan, Eleanor and I like to keep up with the progress of the "West". As a past chairman, I have been saddened by the lack of numbers on the rally field and in particular on committee so I was delighted to hear that a couple of new committee members have been appointed and would like to wish your new Vice Chairman, Eric Williamson all the best in his new role. Lets get back to the days of " West is Best "

We have only been to a couple of rallies in the past few years. We are looking forward to the October one in Blackpool. Our last one was a few years ago at Haggerston castle GREAT RALLY Great value. However, due to health reasons we cannot utiliies rallies that don't offer electrics and proper toilet facilities. We feel that this is possibly the reason for low numbers at some centres rallies. The first thing we have looked at at the start of each season for the past 2 years is upcoming rallies that offer facilities. Maybe some discussion on this could find out if this is a wider problem that people don't feel comfortable addressing ? Perhaps more memebers may five their views as we would love to attend more rallies.

Just browsing to see what local groups/centers are all about. Generally we cannoy attend weekend rallies as we have other commitments for weekends. However we take mid-week breaks whenever we can. The only rally we have been on was to Cherbourg about a couple of years ago. We are both Senior Citizens
